WHY THIS WATCH The J12 was Chanel's first foray into the sports watch segment. Chanel could have gone cheesy and flashy on these watches but they didn't. The ceramic on this watch is done really well. It shows a beautiful deep black lacquer and seems very durable. The magnetically driven deployment clasp is also a nice touch. A personal note, when opening this watch to authenticate, we noticed Chanel had decided to apply a beautiful perilage pattern on the inside of the case back (see picture). Applying such a finishing technique on in inside of the caseback where no-one but the watch repairmen will likely see it, is a testament to the quality and attention to detial on this Chanel offering. THE LITTLE DETAILS This watch was worn very sparingly and is in fantastic condition. The ceramic case is showing no major dents, dings or scratches around 95%. The crystal and dial are free from blemishes. Quartz movement is running strong with no issues. No box or papers.
