Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette & Sheer Colour Stick

It’s summer, and I’m feeling a little restless… I don’t have the mood nor patience to spend hours perfecting my makeup.  Instead, I’m choosing pieces that are as easy to wear as possible, and Chanel‘s current Les Beiges collection for Summer 2017 hits all the right spots for me.  I’ve already reviewed some of the pieces here and here, and today I’d like to show you a couple of color makeup for the eyes and cheeks. Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette surprised me… I’m not the biggest fan of sheer, natural eye makeup, so this wasn’t the most compelling piece for me based on the press images, but when I swatched it for myself, I found my cynicism melt away. The palette is the same size of any Chanel eyeshadow palettes, but housed in the chic Les Beiges case.  It contains 5 powder eyeshadows in a rich silky texture that seems to melt to the touch, and glides on the skin like butter.  The colours are in a range of skin-loving hues that serve to enhance the eyes without detracting from their natural beauty.  The thoughtful inclusion of a light beige and a soft black allows for a good range of intensities.
