Continuing on our journey through the urban cityscape, Chanel presents 3 cool new nail polishes under the Collection Libre Synthetic de Chanel.  All 3 are distinctly different, and there are some really cool textures and finishes that perfectly represents the inspiration for the collection. Chanel Le Vernis Liquid Mirror (540) is a straight forward metallic silver.  Normally, this is not something that I fancy, but for some unspeakable reason, I find myself gravitating to Liquid Mirror.  It is as true a silver as you’d ever find, and it is one of those one-coat wonders, which dries in minutes and look effortlessly cool.  A second coat (if you can be bothered) darkens the hue somewhat, but is not necessary.  Some silver polishes fade out to look thin and lifeless over time, but Chanel Le Vernis Liquid Mirror stays pristine and does not chip for days.  As with most metallic nail polishes, Liquid Mirror does leave brush streaks but very minimally.  The only problem I encountered was that bubbles tended to form on the brush, and leave tiny bumps on the nail, but a coat of gloss evens things out.
