Did you see last night's Marc Jacobs show? I did, and here's my first thought: I hope it's colder than usual this spring because these looks (while breathtaking) look a little wintry to me! We're talking long-sleeve Victorian evening gowns and opulent sweatshirts, all embellished and worn with flat, Teva-esque sandals or fringed moccasin booties (will Tevas be the new Birkenstocks!?). It all seemed part of a very dark, twisted fantasy world, complete with an oversize lifeguard chair and beach debris and a glittering runway that I couldn't take my eyes off of. Am I crazy, or would these outfits be perfect for the ladies of Downton Abbey (if, you know, they were willing to try something grunge-y?). Oh, and I almost forgot to mention: Under one of those jagged blond wigs we got our first (and last) look at Cara Delevingne at New York Fashion Week.
