Coco Chanel ne s'attendait sûrement pas à un tel succès lorsqu'elle a dessiné le flacon N°5 de Chanel. La beauté de la bouteille est telle qu'elle sera exposée au Musée d'Art Moderne de New York en 1959. Alors que la créatrice de génie souhaite un flacon tout simple, elle créa un objet de convoitise, une véritable œuvre d'art qui continue d'alimenter l'imaginaire de tous. Dans une élégance simple, Un objet tellement simplissime pour l'époque qu’il n'a eu aucun mal à trouver sa place dans la catégorie des avant-gardistes.
