12 Perfumes for Spring Life in a Cold Climate

I usually like to have a concept to my posts, some over-arching idea or a point I’m trying to convey. This article has no concept whatsoever. It is just a list of fragrances I’ve worn most this spring and will keep on wearing in the near future. With 1.5 exceptions, it’s an accurate reflection of my current perfume rotation: the full exception being that Mohur extrait is missing from the picture and the half exception being that I’ve only just bought Desarmant and have not worn it more than two days. I don’t of course limit myself to dozen scents for spring, but these are the ones I wear most frequently. 1. Guerlain Apres l’Ondee: my favourite Guerlain classic, this is exceptionally pretty – a soft, slightly powdery floral that I just cannot imagine anyone disliking. 2. Byredo Pulp: the fruitiest scent I know, this one on the other hand does not work for everybody. But for those it does, it’s a little bottle of pure fun. I steal it from J. 3. Chanel 28 La Pausa: one of the best irises there is, especially if you like your iris light and lovely. The only issue with this perfume is that it doesn’t last, so spray like there is no tomorrow and reapply as needed. 4. The Different Company Tokyo Bloom: an underrated modern cologne that I adore in spring. It has the familiar citrus and the green, but dandelion makes it different and unique. More thoughts here. 5.
